The Maldives has opened its borders on 15th October 2020. Currently travelers can spend holidays on resorts, guesthouses and Live aboard safari boats.

While thanking for choosing to stay with us at Ostrov Maldives, even amidst of a Global Pandemic, we are delighted to welcome you to our beautiful island and properties.  We assure you that we have taken all measures to protect you from Corvid-19. We strictly follow the guidelines of the Health Protection Agency of the Maldives and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. We advise you to follow the same guidelines so we all can stay safe from Covid-19 virus.

Please note that you need to bring a PCR negative report which is not more than 72 hours before arriving to Maldives.

We also would like to inform you that Insurance Policy that covers your expenditure in the event of you testing positive for Covid-19 is available for purchase in this link https://myallied.mv/type/inbound-allied/new. Under such circumstances, if you don’t have an insurance policy, all expenses involving possible isolation, transportation to a health facility and medical treatment shall be borne by guest. Therefore, we request you to protect yourself by purchasing an insurance cover before arrival to Maldives.

We also would like to inform you that as per current regulation issued by the Health Authorities of Maldives, a PCR test (paid by you - US$70 per person per test), is carried out with a window period of 96 hours prior to your departure from the island.

In order for us to arrange a contactless check in to our property, we would like to ask you to send us a copy of the passport’s Bio page of everyone arriving.

We also kindly request you to provide us your arrival flight details, so that we could arrange your transfer and airport pick-up service accordingly. You may find further details and price of our speedboat transfer on our website transfer page
