The stunning Ukulhas Island sits on the western side of the Maldives, around 70km from the capital of Malé. 

It forms part of the Alif Alif Atoll, a collection of 33 breath-taking islands inhabited by around 6,000 people. Ukulhas Island’s enviable position in the world, right next to the equator, means it is treated to year-round gorgeous weather.

Getting there is very easy. Most tourists will fly into the capital Malé. From there it’s a short flight on a sea plane or ride in a speedboat. If you fancy taking the scenic route — and why wouldn’t you? — an inexpensive public ferry will take you to your destination. 
But, no matter how you arrive, you will be delighted with what you find.
